Call for Papers

Aims & Scope

The NOUN Journal of Library & Information Technology (NJLIT) provides a platform for the dissemination of quality academic research in the field of Library and Information Science. The journal welcomes high-quality, unpublished papers that address contemporary issues, innovative practices, and theoretical advancements in the profession.

Thematic Areas

Submissions are welcome on, but not limited to, the following core themes:

Digital Libraries & Institutional Repositories
Information Retrieval & Knowledge Management
Information Communication Technology (ICT) in Libraries
Records & Archival Administration
Information Ethics, Law & Policy
User Studies & Information Literacy

Submission Guidelines

  • Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Length: Articles should be between 4,000 to 6,000 words, inclusive of references and abstract.
  • Referencing Style: The American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition format is strictly required.
  • Abstract & Keywords: Include a concise abstract (not exceeding 250 words) and 4-6 keywords.
  • Review Process: All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Accepted papers may be subject to a publication fee. Details will be provided upon article acceptance.
